COMMON QUESTIONS

Getting started with therapy can be confusing. Let's get your questions answered.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

My fee for individual therapy is $175. For your convenience, you can provide a debit/credit card through a HIPAA-compliant online portal that will be automatically billed at the end of a session. Fees are due at the time of service.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Typical sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise discussed.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

I ask that all clients cancel and/or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If you cancel past the 24-hour mark, you may be charged the full rate of the session.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

I do offer sliding scale for clients that require a reduced fee and cannot pay the full fee. I have a limited number of space available for sliding scale. When I cannot accommodate sliding scale, I will make sure to provide you with appropriate referrals to ensure you can find the help you need.

DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH SERVICES?

I do offer telehealth services. Telehealth services are provided through a HIPAA-compliant video platform.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I am currently credentialed with Cigna, Aetna, United, Oscar and Oxford insurance, however I have limited insurance slots available. I do have a wait-list for individuals wanting to use insurance. I am not in-network with any other insurance provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a monthly Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I encourage you to call your insurance provider and ask if you have out-of-network benefits.

If you do plan on using insurance, please know that I am required to submit a Diagnosis from the DSM-5. If you are not comfortable with me submitting a Diagnosis, please let me know as you may prefer to pay of pocket instead.
